Design: Slimmer and Lighter
The A57 5G is 6.9mm thin and weighs 179g.
The Galaxy A56 measured 7.4mm thick and weighed 198g. That is a meaningful difference you feel in your pocket and in your hand over a full day.

Display: Same Size, Noticeably Better Panel

The Galaxy A57 5G will be available in the US starting April 9, 2026. If you are on an A56 or older A-series device, the upgrade math is much easier to justify this time around.
