The OnePlus Nord 6 is now confirmed for an April 7 launch in India, and the spec sheet on this phone is hard to believe for the price. It packs a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, 256GB UFS 4.1 storage, 12GB LPDDR5X memory, a 9,000mAh battery, and an OLED screen with 165Hz refresh rate technology.
I am Ameer Hamza, and at Global Tech Press, I have been going through every confirmed detail from OnePlus India’s official landing page, Android Authority, PhoneArena, and GSMArena. Here is everything we know right now.
What the OnePlus Nord 6 Brings to the Table
One of the standout features of the OnePlus Nord 6 is its massive 9,000mAh battery, making it the largest battery ever seen in a OnePlus smartphone. To put that in perspective, last year’s OnePlus Nord 5 packed a 6,800mAh cell, so this is a 2,200mAh jump in a single generation.
The phone promises “up to 26.9 hours of YouTube” between charges or over 2.5 days of power in “normal use.” That is a significant claim, and one that will be put to the test the moment this phone ships.
Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and Tri Chip Architecture
The OnePlus Nord 6 follows the footsteps of the OnePlus 15 and 15R, featuring two specialized chips: one to ensure faster touch response for more engaging gaming and another “G2” chip for more Wi Fi connections in spaces with low signal strength. These are part of OnePlus’ “Tri Chip” architecture.
The smartphone will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset from Qualcomm, built on a 4nm architecture, with clock speeds ranging from 2.02GHz to 3.21GHz.
Display and Gaming Performance
The Nord 6 features a 165Hz OLED panel with 1800 nit peak brightness. It sports a 6.78 inch 1.5K flat OLED LTPS panel with 3840PWM dimming and OPPO’s Crystal Shield protection.
A major highlight for gamers is the support for 165FPS gameplay in BGMI. OnePlus confirmed this through its own test lab data on the official launch page.
Camera Setup: A Downgrade on Paper
This is where the Nord 6 takes a step back. According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the camera includes a 50MP Sony LYT600 with OIS and an 8MP ultra wide, along with a 32MP autofocus selfie camera. The Nord 5 had a 50MP selfie camera, so the front camera is a clear downgrade.
The Nord 6 appears to be carrying over the same set of cameras from its predecessor, so don’t anticipate any key camera upgrades unless there’s something in the realm of software.

Price and Availability
The OnePlus Nord 6 is launching in India on April 7th with a 9,000mAh battery and will be priced under Rs 40,000. Based on leaks, the phone could be priced at €449 in Europe and £399 in the UK.
The Nord devices traditionally skip a US launch, and the Nord 6 can be expected to continue the tradition. However, it has reportedly cleared regulatory certifications in Malaysia and the UAE.
The big question now is whether OnePlus will even be around to sell this phone in Europe, given the ongoing shutdown reports. But for India, the April 7 launch is locked in and the Amazon listing is already live.
